Description
Bufo bufo.
The lawn is strewn with hunting toads at night.
A few nights ago Rosie licked one and spent an hour trying to rid her mouth of the disgusting taste, so now she leaves them alone!
These little people are too young to breed yet, and won't reach maturity till they are five or six.

TECHNISTRATIONS
You need to get rid of these as they are deadly to dogs! Even a lick can be fatal! - We have them all over Florida too here in the US and I know of many dogs that have died or suffered agonizing seizures. I love your dogs and will be very worried now since I found out they are over there too! BB or pellet guns are a good way to bring them down if they havn't outlawed those too over there. Far safer than poison...

Well now, here's a handsome fellow or perhaps it a lovely lass. I do like toads, and frogs, and snakes .. Our northern toads are not a threat to our dogs either. They all have tasted toad, and choose to leave them alone because of the foul taste which is I believe very mildly toxic, makes the dogs foam a bit at the mouth.
