Description

A short hike out of Skagway Alaska is Lower Dewey Lake. I was in a hurry (not wanting the ship to leave without me!) and didn’t get the exposure right so tried and save it in Photoshop. Thanks for viewing !

I like the subtle leading lines as the lake subtely swings around a distant corner. The cold green hues bespeak of a wet Alaskan landscape. A well done shot considering you probably had little time to think of f stops vs shutter speeds. A bit smaller f stop may have brought more clarity to the distal landscape but you really nailed the colors and the reddish mossy carpet up front really adds a nice bit of soft color contrast to the image. When travelling on tours you often have to compromise time just to get the shot. You did really well.
