OOoooooohhhhh....Happy Birthday, Mark. Oooooohhhhh! What a photo. This is one of those near abstracts that makes my jaw drop; I'm surprised I didn't start drooling. The light and those barnacle thingies are really super, and that reflection is deep, swirly, and stunning. This rocks. Happy Birthday Mark!

Nice work. One thinks of sepia until you see there is color in the reflections. I really respect how you nailed the metering in this difficult shot with such strong contrast of light and dark.

Happy Birthday to Lord Mark!!! Been awhile since I have taken the time to just visit here, I apologize for that. A most excellent dedication, viewing this makes me reflect back on the past, which has had it's share of some not so great moments, but still some lighter ones, yet above the water line, shines bright with promise and hope! Take good care M'lady, and all of the rest of you.

while it's a dock, it has the feeling of an apparition or dream, with the light on the right reaching into the shadows on the left...Those ropes, or whatever they are, are like some kind of strange 'suspension bridges'; and the barnacles, or whatever they are, in your vision become these diamond-like things, something rare and shining. It's a mystical image, and the largest portion of the it seems to be all reflections (your title), intimating some worlds way beyond the boundaries of the camera. Quite beautiful, and mysterious, with intimations and whispers, and beautifully postworked into a dream. Thank you, and for your loving message as well, Tara, I appreciate both. And as I look again, the reflections in your image look like towers, and I think it's the kind of image Chip would make a story about...but then, judging from his comment, he seemed excited by it from the start...Thank you for this loving gift for my birthday. It's beautiful.

Barnacle-clad, the sign of life from the deep - when the tide is right and the mysteries from below are uncovered ... well, partially anyway and who knows what else could be down there? fine dedication, BB

The type of photograph that makes one stop, look and look some more. Provides a touch of mystery for anyone not with you on this photo taking expedition. Nicely done:)
