Description

I was thrown off of RR after almost ever comment last night. It was a long night and I do not have a lot of patience. This is a Tricolored Heron nesting right where I take my morning walk. She just froze and this was the best of all my photos. She is full grown at about 26 inches (66 cm) long with a wing span of 36 inches (91cm). While she moved to be facing me, I think I saw three bluish eggs. Sounds good to me. Taken with my old Minolta. Not my best zoom.
