Description


This unknown flower or seed pod was in a clump of cypress trees and was the size of a golf ball. There were a lot of vines in those trees so I�m not sure what belonged to what. This photo was taken at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands with my old Minolta. Do zoom. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. I have no clue what it is, but it's gorgeous! When I first saw it, I thought it was something in the horse chestnut family, but on full zoom, all of my hypotheses fly right out of the window, so I'll just say this: It's a pretty thing, whatever it is. This is a great capture. Fantastic details.

Love this picture. I think it's a Cephalanthus occidentalis. Never saw one in person before but this is as close as I will come. Very good.

I was going to say, ah yes it's a Swan plant, but on closer inspection you seem to have found the Golfballis-sideswipeus ! LOL Not really, but kool find and capture Dana and you hit the nail on the head with my post, it was Captain Nemo's Lounge from the Nautilus ! ~Cheers~
