Description

Bryce is famous for its hoodoo formations, and I figured I should post at least one of that sort of thing! So here's my obligatory hoodoo shot. I liked this one because it looked sort of like an old city with castles and towers and whatnot. Bryce is basically a mesa, or plateau, that is eroding away at the edges. The hoodoos are shorter the farther away from the edge of the plateau they are because they've been eroding longer. Eventually the entire plateau will be gone. Check out the Wiki on Bryce HERE if you're interested in learning more. There's a lot of detail here ... zoom is good.
