Description
It's the continuum of my nightly escapades - 'a spider and it's web' - I nearly walked into it! but thank heavens for the LED torch, my trusty weapon of choice it goes everywhere, where I go - unless it's full Moon ...
and THAT was unforgettable the other night!
I might even post that next, as part of the 'Night time' series ? LOL
Seriously though, evening or night time photography is another challenge for me and so mysteriously fascinating - perhaps you like to give it go too ?

Magical lighting! I do,love spiders, but I am grateful that their webs are not the size of ropes as described in the Hobbit!

I don't think this Spider is all it's cracked up to be...LOL ! Nice job on the hand-held lighting and getting a good result ! The postwork effects really add another dimension...kool ! ~Cheers~ p.s., do want me to get some Butter Menthol's or Eucalyptus Drops on the way back from TAFE ?

Good thing you had your flashlight, he looks ready to try eating you! Excellent shot Brigitte. It is too early to try that here, I look for them in the middle of the night in the fall.

(do you read Arabic? Brycer3d left his/her comment in Arabic. Occasionally I see Japanese too. More commonly, French, Deutsch, etc. But Arabic doesn't show often in these parts...It has beautiful calligraphic letters...) Anyway, it looks like you did something to this, brought out the jagged electricity of the line, and almost flattened the spider into a graphic design. Maybe you didn't, but it has a special graphic quality. And your background shows just streaks of light---a really fine design, a really fine image. Spiders are masters of the night...great choice for this series.
