After the usual display of snowdrops had disappeared from the garden, I was surprised and delighted when half a dozen Daffodils appeared last month. I used to have loads in the back and front gardens but, with the exception of one rather scrawny Daff out the front, they have all vanished in recent years. These gave me a nice display for two or three weeks but have now, sadly, gone over - but now a few Tulips and loads of Whitebells and Bluebells have come out and everything looks nice again. I even have a few Violets, Primroses and Grape Hyacinths out there as well. It's amazing what is showing up now that the garden sized Blackberry bush has been cleared. :-) ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph 16 Apr 2013
