Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to view my work.
This was something of an experiment with how to set up and light a more gothic style scene. From looking at photos, I decided to try for dark scene, bright lights. It did pretty much what I intended, and I did very little postwork on it. Mainly a bit of touch up on the hair and bent leg.
I made most of what's in the scene. This uses my in progress photo studio, including pose boxes with a special texture and a boom light. The clothing and hanging is my Temple Wear 01 set. All of the materials are mine, as are all the textures on the scenery and the diffuse texture on the hair. The morph on the figure is my own random dial spin.
I'm also very grateful for the absolutely excellent resources I used in this image, which I've listed below.

Fabulous creation ... wonderfully done !

This -to me - is a poignant piece, and not just because of the potentially destructive effect those deadly wings have on the personage bowed in obeisance to some ruling force (this is the story as it evolves for me, anyway) but her face registers such resignation to her fate. This resignation leaves her expressionless... mute. Bowed.

Wonderfully expressive and beautifully lit--I especially like the soft shadows; you get the right atmosphere but you can still see the details!
