My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!Â

Hehe! A lot more rectilinear than the real thing, but such an interesting image.

Lots of shapes in there Tara.

I can imagine you taking this photo....backing, backing, backing...until you got just the angle and proportions that suited your taste. Excellent photography at Maryhill POV after POV:)

The shadows are really cool.

Nice POV & shadow play, though personally I much prefer the eroded & worn original to this sterile replica. I was lucky enough to visit it back in 1969 when there were no fences...

Great shot angle. Very nice done
moochagoo
Quite nice POV. Bravo :)

And as I read your commentary Howard Jones is singing "Don't back up..." on my CD player....coincidence? I think not... LOL! Great shot of this replica, and as always your composition is spot-on!

A very well-composed image. Nice work.

Excellent composition. This reminds me of the Gate of the Sun built by the ancient Tiahuanaco culture of Bolivia. http://www.thule.org/tiahuanaco.html

JIm Houston used to say that as well. And Buck Martinez, he used to also say, "Ohhh! he's crushed it, it's wayyyyyyyyyyyy back, back, back to the waaaaaall--Aaaaaand it's outer here!" Lovely shot Tara.
