Description

We opened the camper at the Hollow last week, and we are going out tomorrow for probably a week or so. Weather is supposed to be pretty good. The Trout Lilies were blooming when we were out there Thursday. They are such a pretty little flower, named after the trout because their leaves are marked a bit like a brook trout's marking. It's official name is Erythronium americanum . Played with filters a bit on this one. I've been so busy with spring stuff, and getting stuff ready for the Hollow. Camper is ready, all nice and clean. All signs of mice have been cleaned away, including the two caught in traps. Sigh. They were the adorable wood mice, too. So now it's back to trying to catch up when I get back, Haven't been on line much at all lately, just no time. Zoe is growing like a weed and is just adorable. This week she is going to be without her gramma to babysit,, I hope she does well. My daughter plans to crate her, she has a nice big crate, but it's gotta be like prison to her! I'm certain that distinctly imperious lily is watching me! She really doesn't look "little" from this pov....she towers. I'm so envious of your escape. Please have a wonderful time exploring the woods and taking a million pictures....on behalf of all of us still wearing the ball and chain. You'll be in the forefront of my thoughts as I wheel the working stiffs and junkies around the lovely city streets.

Ah, Spring in the Hollow, must be a very busy time. Too bad you can't get the Good Folk to help clean up the place, I am sure they'd be in agreement. Excellent image, Rita!!!!!
