Description

I can't begin to comment on this poem. So here it is. Desire by Caleb Myers Can you fathom my desire the compassion with which I reveal myself a lie? The truth I resign to reluctant observation Fashioning a promise of intent Can you grasp the expectation owing nothing of nothing and content to be I plead you deny myself on necessity and reflection Being happiness But the latter is substitute and so concede, do concede to excuse the rift and trial Does my passion eschew judgment or yours the priority of simplicity But no. Can you fathom my desire the extent of longing not to cradle the unapproachable silhouette But unnecessary knowledge to give solace, solitary. And of love.
