That's great. Better hope you do not need fuel around there.

Excellent photo. Haven't seen one of these "old school" pumps in years. Brings back memories, doesn't it?

And free drinking glasses for loyal customers. Looks like it hasn't seen much business in a while. A really fine image. You have learned your lessons well, grasshopper.

There are still a few places where they wash your windows for you, but not many. I found one near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. That's a great shot. I don't think anybody has gotten gas at that particular station in quite a while.

The rusty parts give this image a real vintage look - and now I wonder, if they ever removed the underground tank? or just left this as a reminder of the good ol' times ;)) a fine glimpse into our past, Lynell BB

Wonderful fun capture!! A few Years ago while driving through a small town in Wyoming, I stopped at a service station for gas and an attendant came out and pumped gas and cleaned my windows.

It really dates the pumps too when unleaded is a premium gas. Interesting seeing these old pumps left to rust away in some forgotten place in the countryside. A little piece of a busier past which has become lodged in the present.
