Description

Back on the Mersey, waiting for the 'fly past', when this appeared overhead. I recognised it immediately, though it has never been mentioned in any of the promo stuff I've seen. This is one of The Black Cats, the Royal Navy's helicopter display team.Better still, it's the one with the Lynx painted on the side. They usually display as a pair but this kitty did just fine on it's own. I have 2 minutes of video to upload somewhere, sometime. I could probably have got a better shot, when it was closer and over head, but I was determined to get the Liver Building in the shot.It was just leveling out of a dive here and 'shifting'! I was hoping to get the whole building but two Liver Birds and one and a half clocks will have to do :-) WORTH A ZOOM??

Wow! didn't see it at first as it blends in well with the building behind. Every time I see the Liver Building I think of the other two 'Liverbirds' ;)
