My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Hmmmm - this must be the "Blue Oval" release for 2014.... LOL! A wonderful and fun shot, Tara! I couldn't help associate the blue logo with the delightfully dilapidated "transportation" in the foreground.... Not a big fan of Ford products, myself... :-D

Boy, these have seen some use. I also noticed they are Ford products.

I'm so confused, I thought you were just in Austria. But Wyoming is a cool place too.

Being stuck sometimes has great advantages. This is sure one of them!!

And that clearly shows what happens to things that get driven into the winds around Gillette! I spent a few hours in Gillette waiting for the snow to end. I quickly noticed one thing, the almost complete absence of people of color, and when after a couple of hours, one person who looked to be Indonesian came in, the tension in the air was palpable, everyone stopped talking, everyone stared, and it made me feel very uncomfortable. That was not a nice memory of Gillette for me.

Spot on having the Ford sign in the background!

So, would I be too far off in assuming that this mode of transportation is, quite possibly, the newest Ford? Nice! I love spotting things either by accident or by default (generally because of bad weather, or waiting around in a truck-yard for a ride home, or something like that.) Brilliant shot.

What a lucky thing! The dereliction tells a story, but I'm not sure what. I'm sure you could write one!
