My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Wow, cool place. Looks fun, like the kind of place you set up camp and eat smores.

I'm amazed at the depth you've captured here, Tara! And what perfect exposure – this is almost like an HDR image without doing the processing... A wonderful shot!

A Very Beautiful Shot,

Beautiful capture of a magnificent place! I love the combination of the hint of a path, the 'V' shape of the nearer rims, and the jagged shapes further on slightly obscured by the haze. It gives me both a sense of depth and a longing to explore. The longing and the depth, might come into conflict if I was actually there, but as it is, I can imagine and be breezily heading deeply into the image, legs, feet, and back all behaving themselves. This is beautiful! Thank you! I love Seattle and surrounding areas. I'll be back!

Lots of impact with a great sense of anticipation. Once you reach the rim what awaits? Wonderful dedication for Lucinda.

The depth is amazing! Oh the depth! I love the way this image just goes. The rocks in the distance make me think of brooding castles of the type you'd find in the parts of the world with brooding castles standing within walking distance of some place advertising "non-stop wifi" (pronounced "weefee" as a particular group of friends say. I love the way this evokes so much, and to top it off, it's a perfect dedication as well. This is making a trip into my favorites.

The DOF creates such a dramatic and then again such a peaceful and harmonic infinity, on and on it goes ... I love it! A stunning presentation and not only for Lucinda, but especially for her - it takes my breath away! BB

I do not frequently long for things that are unattainable (physically) but this photo does make me long to hike and climb through Zion. Well, that's ok...we'll make it back there and I know a few fairly level hikes that already have our names written on them:) Beautiful job and dedi!
