My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

An attentive buddy. Gespitzen his ears, the concentrated look, the lips, the tense posture ... ready to offensive! Very good in b / w.

What a beautiful shot of this lovely dog. I bet hi/she loves the work :) Magnus had a super day yesterday... One of the neighbor dogs Bonnie (a lovely black cocker spaniel girl) Was in her maturity and payes him a visit. He survived it :-P. Seems the neighbor didnt mind. But she said she made a mistake on the dates and thought it was over. Well, it wasnt :)

I'm glad you and the hubby are taking the time to travel and provide these wonderful shots. Each one tells a story and each one competes as to "which one is my favorite?" So far, "All of 'em." Lol

A gorgeous shot, Tara! With the light, almost white grass, this looks like it was taken with infrared film. A unique and lovely portrait of this beautiful dog.

The work is never done - unless it's done by a 'cattle-mutt' ;)) (in OZ we call them actually cattle-dogs) In this image you are really highlighting the importance of is job in action - so dramatic with it's contrast of B&W ! BB

Amazing shot !

Very interesting postwork :)

Gorgeous shot! Gainfully employed people always make for interesting photography, though the only canine people I know of spend most of their time chewing things. I love the dreamy focus of this shot and it feels so timeless in black and white. How fitting that Patches is the only sharp focus in this shot; everything else is like a memory and Patches is the one making that memory.
