Description
Yesterday's photo was the starting point for this. I added a stone buddha from my garden & some elements from a couple of other photos, using layer blending options (primarily Overlay blending mode) & some color & filter work. Please zoom...

You're getting an early start on tomorrow. I would prefer just the addition of the Buddha image on the fence. The red square seems extraneous to me.

Nice manipulation. Had me fooled until I read you explanation.

Terrific Image,

I think I agree the addition of the Buddha is great! The other element looks added but I think a small perspective change and some fading would help. What is the second element?
Faemike55
this is cool but the red square right now detracts from the Buddha.

Best I think with just the Buddha since I have no idea what the red thing is. Nice work!

I like the mix of elements in this; the rectangular thing looks a bit out of place, but not entirely distracting. I wonder if the addition of another element of equal intensity might balance it out, or if fading it a little bit (maybe increasing its transparency) would do anything different to this image. I think it's a successful and rather cryptic image as is, and I quite like it immensely, especially as the Buddha figure has glowing eyes: something one doesn't always associate with the Buddha. I like this quite a lot.

Wonderfully confusing.

I agree pretty much with the previous comments. I love how Chipka always makes such intelligent comments. This is very nice and I love the Buddha. He seems like he was stained into the fence boards.
