Description

Following my 'That Darn Cat' post the other day, Mike said he expected to see Dean Jones and Hayley Mills.......well by the strangest coincidence......I haven't had any luck finding Dean Jones in New Brighton. I've had even less luck finding the delectable Miss Mills (but I'll live in hope on that one :-) However, this was parked outside the Bowling Ally tonight.....no substitute for Hayley I know, but I hope you like it.............( check out the Reg plate)

Cheers mate! I had to smile when I saw this, a classic amongst all that grey porridge on wheels. The first 'Herbie' film I went to see was 'Herbie rides again' at the local Odeon cinema in 1974 although I don't think Dean Jones was in that one. As for Miss Mills, I believe she now resides in Africa in some silly vet show lol. Cool car and plate :)

Herbie was one of the first movies ever that I saw in a theater :-)

Awesome! I've got a '63 that is in the process of restoring. Hope it turns out that good.

Not sure what I was expecting but that's pretty clever. They did a great job of restoring the bug. I had a 1962 red one with one those rubbery roll back tops. I called it the "Covered Wagon." I always used a very thick German accent using the "V" sound.
