Description

Location - Fats' Malt Shop. Autumn, Naomi, and Claire review after a big night at the honky-tonk... NAOMI: If you don't mind me sayin' so, darlin', that outfit is a little severe for this early hour. CLAIRE: Oh, I'm meetin' Nana* in a bit. We're goin' around to survey the dominion, so to speak. AUTUMN: Unngh... Naomi, why do you call this place a "malt" shop when you don't even serve beer? NAOMI: ...Is that a rhetorical question? AUTUMN: It's the only reason I agreed to come here. I need a little hair of the dog. Seriously, Claire, how can you possibly be so peppy right now? CLAIRE: 'Cos I had two drinks and you had seven. NAOMI: [nods wisely] AUTUMN: [groans] CLAIRE: So... what happened with that guy last night?? AUTUMN: It was going pretty well for a while, but then I totally ruined it. NAOMI: What happened? AUTUMN: I asked him how he could possibly stand listening to country music. That was just the first car in the awkward train... NAOMI: [aghast] CLAIRE: [to Naomi] She was partyin' ironically. NAOMI: Ahh... I tell you what, sugar. Around here, even that nut who thinks he's Bob Marley listens to country music now an' then. AUTUMN: Now you tell me. CLAIRE: [notices where Naomi's hand "accidentally" landed] * Nana = Claire's great-grandmother, Miss Strong. DAZ Studio and LuxRender. 18 hours rendering (yeesh).

Ah, the all nighter. One has pancakes and the other coffee to "wake up". Guess who's having the better breakfast! Morning confession time before heading out to the new day and that tired hang-over feeling. Not my cup of tea, but I recognize it so well after an all-nighter working a the computer or tossing in bed unable to sleep. Very nice render. I like the camera angle - "you are there" all the while showing all 3 people. Great job with the low early morning lighting through the windows mixed with the malt shop's overhead lighting. Keep up the good work! :-)
