This rock formation at Arches National Park caught my eye, and I immediately thought of Andrea. Its expressive face made me smile. :) Happy Birthday, Andrea! size=6>

What a perfect shot and dedication! It immediately made me think of those marvelous Andrea-style doodles. It's good to see that some of those characters can be found on this side of the pond, too...and what details! This is fantastic, so perfectly seen, and to top it off, it looks like a disgruntled avian with a really elaborate hairdo. How perfect! Happy Birthday Andrea!!!

Could be a bird. Could also be a great ape. Either way its an amazing gift for Andrea. Happy birthday, Andrea! BTW - I was going to make some smart remark about never having seen a gruntled avian but your title prompted me to look up Gruntled. Its an actual word. It means to put in a good humor.

The erosion by wind, water, environment influences takes the form amazing. This here as finely sanded and older formations are free exposed. Great in b/w !!
