Description
A house I came across a while back I just thought it looked like it has so much history and I am sure lots of stories about the people that had passed through the doors. I liked the way the tree framed the roof to me it was so charming. I could picture a fresh coat of paint, some flowers a garden, a porch swing and a brand new home and life for someone. Have a great weekend all.
Quite a few of you asked about how I was able to get the photos of the giraffes from that angle, well there is a bench that is near where they were so I did stand on that but they were just close enough that I just was able to zoom in enough. The story below is about twin giraffes that were born last month in Texas they are so adorable, I want the job of working with them.

Great capture Lynell, and good point about this classic old home. Sad it is in such a bad condition.

This house have "atmosphere" (Know no other words for it in the moment) I can hear the children laughing and shouting or mum is calling for dinner - it hurts a little bit seeing places like this with all its lost memories. My place would be at the terrace, playing a guitar...

This would make a charming home if fixed up! The framing by the tree branch is wonderful!

By the title I was fully expecting to see a rusted out Chevy, lying nose down somewhere in the thick woods, but this will serve just as well. I love shots of dilapidated old things such as houses, fences, posts, gates, doors, vehicles, etc., and this one really fits the bill, Lynell, with peeling paint galore. Superlative capture of the old timer.
