Description
Without question, the two biggest stars of the Hamilton airshow this year: the CWH's own Lancaster, and the Military Aviation Museum's Mosquito. Seeing them up close was a treat. Seeing them fly was fantastic. Seeing them fly *together*... beyond words.
My "in flight" photos need lots of work. Quite a challenge getting the right balance of lighting, clarity & "action".

As someone who has been shooting aircraft in flight for most of his life, I reckon this is GREAT! And the sound, it must have sounded awesome. At the last show I did, they had an interesting mix. They first had an iconic Aussie Boomerang, and then it was joined a Vampire, Sabre and then a Hornet. The little Boomerang was at full speed keeping up with the F-A18 which had slowed to a crawl!!!! It was amazing to see so many generations in the sky together, arm in arm as it were! BTW, your photo here has captured the perfect amount of prop blur. 5/5 Andrew
