Description

Well, no hail fellow well met here. Can't we all get along? Pix captured over the last six months, and an example of what I often encounter during my walks. What a racket! Even more threatening viewed full size. I tried to explain to them in my best dogese that their territory ends at the fence and that I have the God given right to pass by unchallenged on the public sidewalk without having to endure their obsessive histrionics, but they would have none of it, instead continuing to yap away in complete disregard. They certainly lack proper decorum. And I wasn't about to toss them any tasty tidbits to win their friendship. Those offerings -- which they often ignore -- are soon forgotten, and the owners don't appreciate me feeding them anyway. Anger management class, anyone? I bet Buster and Rosie aren't like that. Cheerybye, and have a nice day.

You have always had this effect on dogs. Great focus despite the barking dogs.

Isalisette, from Holland, I think I made the dogs angry by being within a mile of them.

What an excellent collection of mugshots, Harry; most of the dogs I encounter up here are out walking with their owners on leashes; I don't know if they get fierce when protecting their property, but I would imagine that at least some of them do. My little monster barks at my dad if he comes to the door of my room!

That top shot is a masterpiece, Harry! My pack are capable of that behaviour, led by Fritz who seems to have Terrettes syndrome. But I don't have anywhere on my boundary where they can see out, I like a private garden!

Guess you wouldn't be sticking your hand through those fences to pet those beasts!! You'd lose a finger or two for sure!!

They do not look friendly at all! I find the second one particularly chilling as he looks out the side of his eye and stands so still. Excellent captures! I'll be back tomorrow.
