Description
We were coming home from Oregon one evening and I got this shot just after the sun went down. It's north of Trinidad, California. I love the soft colors of the sea and sky.

almost an abstract, except it has real nature in it. Beautiful dark light, the rock (or island) on the far left is a real punctuation mark in the midst of all the water and dark silhouettes, your trees up front hit the scene like a Japanese print, and your background seems like ocean and mountain have melded into one. Topped off by a beautiful sky (where darkness leads into that muted peach-hued blue). Quite beautiful and evocative. I know you love my lake---and I'm thrilled you do!---but ain't nothin' on my lake that can provide this scene. Deep and alluring.
