... I'll get a bigger lense! Taken during the Battle of the Atlantic commemorations in May. Was rather caught out by this, it was supposed to happen at 13:00 hrs but they turned up at 11:45am, just as I was getting out of the car, hoping for a good vantage point, one pass and they were gone...I went for the long shot as I wanted to record a sight that will probably never be seen again over the Liverpool skyline, 1 Sea King, 1 Sea King Commando, 1 Merlin and a Lynx all in a traffic jam behind a Fairey Swordfish....I'll bet it was no easy task for the helicopter pilots holding formation behind the slowest thing on 4 wings....marvelous sight though......
Tomorrow...."News from 'The Plant'.".....yes, it's still open :-)

We all get those moments when we cannot be prepared, but you did well!

Oh, my! What a rare photo. "Stingbag" leading modern helecopters. You're really fortuante you could even get these photos, considering wrong time and potential lighting problems. A great "Welll done!", Neil! And, there's no chopper that can fly the RN flag like this! Love it! Keep up the good work! :-)

Excellent mate, love that Fairey Swordfish ;)

Awesome! Great to see a Stringbag in the air. Looks like you caught a Russian destroyer or frigate in the frame as well!

Don't see many of those on this side of the pond. Nice catch in spite of your lack of lenses!
