Description
Captured 5/10/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.
For a change of subject matter and venue, I'm finally getting around to posting some of my older pics, which I have tons/tonnes of.
As always, better viewed full size.
The west end shore of lovely Legg Lake, where humans and their avian counterparts coexist in a state of complete harmony. People normally go there to just sit and relax, have a small picnic, or to fish.
Ironically, whereas this end of the vast lake is populated by Canadian geese, mallard ducks and pigeons, the east end features mostly Chinese and white geese, swans, white ducks, and a few pigeons. So, birds of a feather do flock together.
Arrivederci, baby, and have a nice day.

Nice shot Harry. Looks like a fun place to take your camera. I would think you would have to be careful where you sit ;)

People must feed them, despite warnings not to; the Canada geese and mallards are real moochers! But what a wonderful scene, almost reminiscent of Seurat. Marvelous capture, Harry!
