Description
Captured 5/12/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.
A shot of another section of the vast lake, this one depicting an adult and child, presumably father and son, trying to catch dinner. My 28-200mm lens brought them up close in the bottom shot.
It's mostly green in the second pic with that banked shore reflection in the water.
A ZOOM makes this spectacularly better.

In the UK fisherman must put their catch back after recording it. Sea fishing is not subject to these restrictions. Lovely photos, very peaceful.

Looks peaceful and lovely there, Harry; what fish are there in this lake? And I'm wondering about that dark silhouetted guy at the picnic table in the lower shot, he has a bit of a sinister feeling about him. I'm sure I'm reading into it, but there you have it. Excellent captures, both of them!

I can remember going fishing with my dad, I was never a fan of fishing I just really didn't get it, but I did love spending time with him.
