My dear Susan, I know you loved flowers and nature so much. And You always posted lovely photos and liked working with PSP.
So to honor you, here is an image that encompasses all those things.
You are missed very much dear.
Note.. This started with a photo of my roses that I planted years ago to honor my mother-in-law.

I never knew Susan, and only commented in her gallery a few times; that wasn't because of her images by any means, but because I couldn't do everyone I wanted to do, here, so unfortunately had to neglect any number who were so worthy of my time. But I was always moved with her art and her love for all she did, as well as for her life and her family; and I knew she was ill a long time; and when I saw that she'd passed, I was heartbroken. I was very glad a dedication was posted on the front page of the site, and equally glad that so many people come out to honor her. Your image is touching, and your postwork makes it part painting and part silk, with a feeling of 'craquelure' as well (the very fine lines and cracks that form on old paintings, and which at times can look like beautiful aging). This is as delicate as her flower work, and it's special that this began as a piece for someone in your family---it increases the connection to Susan as family, here. A touching delicate dedi to a beloved soul. I wish her great light, and that it shine on all those she knew as she did in her life. You honored her beautifully, Sandy, you made a card within a card, like a box of jewels...a touching dedi to your friend...
