Description

The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts opened in Kansas City in 2011. It's quite a building! The day we were there the downstairs lobby was open, but it wasn't a "public" day, so we had to content ourselves with seeing a small part of the whole. I'll show you more later. You just know I took oodles of pictures there!! :)

Wow, it must be a really light building to require all those lines holding it down; wonder if it floats up on a windy day? LOL! It looks like a heaven for photographers, can't hardly wait to see all your views!

Strange design but a great capture Tara. At first glance I thought you had forgotten to straighten the picture. I like all the reflections in it. As to the minarets, the last I checked there were nine at the mosque in Mecca. Talking about egos!

A really cool shot of this new structure, Tara! I haven't been inside it, yet, but it looks really cool from I-35... It reminds me a lot of the performing arts center in Sydney, Au. sigh I really need to get out more, but with this ****ed up rotation I'm on.... :-P
