You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Sehr außergewöhnlich. Ich mußte die Blume erst suchen. Aber die weichen, fließenden Linien und Formen sind wunderschön. Meditation ist hier wörtlich zu nehmen.

So complex! I talk to my flowers, but this one might just talk back.

Excellent sculpture and a great photo too!

I don't spend any time wondering about the blurry line between me and flowers. Actually, I didn't know there was one! It always amazes me to hear what artists say about their creations. I guess I'm too practical. The sculpture is engrossing and compelling and enchanting, but it doesn't make me think about what the artist was thinking about. Hmmmmm.

I was going to ask why they didn't take the cover off the sculpture but I guess this is it. Actually I like this. I'm a big fan of abstract flowing art. I'll bet Sonja loves responding to your posts. She doesn't have to deal with English.

Yep, you are right on the money, Mark - very observant! ;P

It looks like this flower welcomes you, it has such an inviting view, very tempting, Brigitte. What I find striking is that I just concluded, that the artists of this, plus your third, they both have Dutch names. A great capture, dear Brigitte!
