Description
One more, he said... one more raid on British shores and then we can all retire rich and fat.
But the English had been waiting, they sprung their trap and now a lone warrior is left. He'd made his way back to the ship, but who was going to navigate it's way home?
Please have a look in Zoom? Thanks for the Peek!

Take England, it's difficult. Maybe he fell on the resistance of the Knights of the Round Table? ;) Dramatic scene, but excellent realisation.

Oh....well played indeed, and ZOOM is amazing. The background looks more like the Northland than England, so I'm just going to pretend he did make it home, since this could be a follow-up to my Viking's Daughter scene....and she really wanted her father to return home. I really felt emotional over this one....LOL

We hope you don't mind we shared this to show folks this beautifully rendered image Seth,it's linked back here and to advertise your gallery, but we felt this one has something very special about it, on the ZOOM in the quality of the image is as twelvemark21 said "it's hypnotic" the hues and tones and darkness depicts what is going inside his head, the dread of what's to come, what has passed..Absolutely love this piece Seth, Thankyou for creating it with such passion..Huge Hugs Tracey :)

Excellent scene. Perhaps his ship will drift to the Americas. Thus the Norsemen will have discovered it first.

Outstanding piece of work man, bravo...Everytime I see an image like this I think of the Wishbone Ash album "Argus" Peace Throw down the sword the fight is done and over Neither lost, neither won To cast away the fury of the battle And turn my weary eyes for home There were times when I stood at death's own door Only hoping for an answer Throw down the Sword...Wishbone Ash
