My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Superb image, Tara. Outstanding light, color and texture. Looks a little like the inside of a nautilus shell or a fractal.

Lighthouses are one of my favorite things in life. Which is why I own property in-front of one! I see your liking the high ISO feature on this camera! Both of you did an excellent job on this shot and I think it has opened up more creative possibilities for you!

The muted reds and blues - and a touch of gold - are just beautiful. And the sweep of the stairs is a wonderful visual journey around the image. It has a very dreamlike quality - Most excellent, Tara!

Nice one - I like the soft light. We visited Cape Blanco also this past weekend & I also took a shot of this spiral staircase, but not sure if I'm going to post it or not, as I have many others from there that I like better...
