Description

This is a photo of Dillon Reservoir and The Continental Divide here in Colorado. This reservoir is a major water supply for the City of Denver. This lake is on the West side of the Continental Divide. If You look closely just above the lake in the left center of this photo You might be able to see just above the trees on an incline, Interstate 70, which runs up and under the Continental Divide through the Eisenhower Tunnels. A gorgeous shot! I love Colorado! When I lived in Colorado Springs, you could find me at Devils Head every weekend digging Smoky Quartz and Topaz Gemstones. I bet you can find arrowheads adjacent to this reservoir near rocky outcroppings.
