Description

It's been a while, since posting something/anything (?) - but being busy is no excuse anymore - time has come to refresh the senses once more and today it's two, for the price of one ... well almost three, that is if you can recognise the little white dog tied to the white bike on the fence, called: " I'm waiting for you " by Erica Gray. she says: We have all walked past some version of this excited little pooch tied to and diligently protecting his buddy's property, as he waits eagerly for his friend's return. the other two are more colourful attractions ... but first up is: " Blue Perspective " by John Cox, A splash of blue across the figure is used to add to the calm demeanor of the surfer. followed by: " Embrace of Love " by Liu Yonggang, Reflecting the rich culture of one the world's oldest civilizations L.Y. references ancient Chinese characters (no longer written in China today) and transforms the traditional art of calligraphy into a dynamic contemporary art form. *** Cheers my friends, I hope I have made up now, for being absent, longer than exspected ;P *BB*

They are very beautiful and creative sculptures and your shots are perfect, I'll have the dog and bike one, I wouldn't need to take the dog for a walk and the cycle looks like it wouldn't move !! perfect ;)

Great sculptures, and I like the way you combined them. Terrific complement, each to the other!

I like the vibrant colors in "Blue Perspective". I also like the melding of the calligraphy characters in "Embrace of Love". I have seen the sad situation of the loveable dog abandoned in "I'm waiting for you". I always have the urge to take the dog home with me and call the dog officer the next day!!!!! :>)

I think the poor woman has been in the water too long. "Embrace of Love" is a perfect title for the piece. It really does look like a couple embracing. My favorite is "I'm waiting for you" but then I like whimsy. A very nice triptych.

Well, dear BB*-chen, that's a very thin surfer-girl, I'm afraid she will be blown away when she's on the sea with her board ;-). The bicycle, plus dog was (how strange) immediately catching my eyes, when I clicked on full size mode. Again you surprised us with a very colorfully two, and that white no. one! I like it, what is the translation of the Chinese character, and your POV is splendid on your two beautiful photo's. I like to see the contours of the buildings across the ocean (or what is between); and the tree plus fence on the second is also very nice behind 'the Chinese-blue'. An 'Embrace of Love', from your Jacky! ;-)
