Description
Hi Folks: This year’s countdown features slightly updated versions of favorite images since the series started in 2000.
Here is my favorite for Number 9: 9 Saucers Circling
The Scariest Places edition (2011) depicted many locations from distant and recent history where terrible things actually or perhaps happened. The one that draws the most speculation is a military base near Roswell, New Mexico. Practically all of the original personnel at Area 51 are dead, and whatever the remaining survivors are saying now is quickly debunked or buried in news noise. Perhaps, after the Time Lords sort it all out in November 2013 (the 50th Anniversary of the Doctor Who television series), we’ll have a few more answers.
Thanx to artists at Renderosity.com, 3DCommune, Daz 3D, Archive3D.net, ShareCG, Turbosquid, and Poserworld, whose props were used in this image.
