Description
A US Destroyer battling high seas. This is the USS George M Bache, a destroyer that was launched July 7, 1942 and commissioned 4 months later. She was 376 feet 6 inches (114.7 meters) long with a crew of 329 men. She was scrapped in March 1, 1968. This destroyer had 5 main guns, 17 anti aircraft guns, 10 torpedo tubes and 6 depth charge launchers. A converted slide taken in 1966 from the deck of an aircraft carrier. Info from Wikipedia.
