My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A fine photograph of the prickly desert plants.
Wolfenshire Online Now!
I think it's cool the way you can take objects that most of us would never give a second glance at and find the uniqueness of it.

Ouch!!! Well, you did warn me:) Like it.

I would definitely keep my distance. I like the concept of background cacti seen behind rows of foreground cacti - very creative...
wysiwig
Very creative use of light, composition and DOF. Definitely not something for Andrea's garden.

Well, this is definitely a sharp photo, Tara! LOL It does look like rebar with thorns... You'd need some serious gloves to handle it.. A wonderful photo, dear friend!

Excuse me while I wipe the blood off my iPad. A very piercing composition, the diagonals are very dynamic.

Great POV with the cactus in the background and I bet It makes a great fence.

Those thorns certainly are sharp, but then, so is your excellent picture.

I have definitely decided that I am never going to run naked through the desert at night! Great shot!

The texture details are wonderful and well worth the zoom, the lines and colour against that blue sky also make this attractive
