Yesterday, November 30th, was Mieke's second birthday. Of course we had great fun in the sun!
I thought I would take a quick break from the Kgalagadi animals to wish my little darling granddaughter a very happy 2nd birthday! She was much more interested in the presents and not so much in posing for her gran!

That's always the way isn't it :) I remember one Christmas when my children were her age they wanted to play with the boxes and not the presents LOL, a lovely shot of a pretty birthday girl by her no doubt doting Grandma :)

Her second birthday??? No no, Hun, she just had her first a couple of months ago. You must be going senile. LOL! It can't possibly have been two years already! I remember when she was born just like it was yesterday. Well, I'm sure you're right, since you're there and she actually DOES look like a two-year-old! :P It's an adorable picture, Dierbaar. She's delightful!

I have to agree with Tara. I'm sure it was just a few months ago that she turned one. You are so fortunate to be able to capture these precious moments. I bet she will treasure them when she is older.

Excellent capture my friend. The light is so harsh here, but you managed a great exposure. And I hope that little blondie had some factor 15 on :)

Her skin is so fair, we use a Factor 40 for babies on her! Yeah - the light was horrible - very bright sunlight and she was mostly in the shade!
