Description
Apodemus flavicollis
This mouse is very similar to the Wood or Long-tailed Field mouse, of which I also have many, but has a richer brown coat with a patch forming a collar at the chest.
They are very fond of my fat feeders, and this one got caught in the light when i let the dogs out at bedtime.
Here she is using her tail to hang on, but see her using it to balance Here

Like a rat caught in a trap. Ralphie would make short work of the intruder. Fine capture of the rodent during its night time raid on your fat feeder, whatever that is. Perhaps cheese cake?

Have not seen anything like this at our feeders. Hubby puts out suet for the birds too. Lovely little mouse.
