Description
Hello All.
Many of you have been asking for my desert gear for the M4. Those of you who know me, know of my enduring love affair with the P4 Domus, allowing me to add multiple figures in my renders. However it is a demanding figure & needs a lot of TLC & elbow Grease, but when properly posed with good textures and avoiding close-ups it turns out rather nicely. As most of my renders use lots of figures it suits my needs very well. That being said, many of you prefer that DAZ3D staple the M4, others Apollo, for my close-ups I like the G2 figures from Poser, James, Simon, Koji & Kelvin. I find it all rather more of a personal choice, if it "aint broke don't fix it".
Since I make my uniforms to suit my personal needs I tend to make them either for Domus or G2. But personal tastes "Be Damned", there is a lot of demand for M4, so here is my WIP of some desert gear for the M4, I am having, some very frustrating issues making my gear for the M4. If one looks closely at the M4 conformed ammo boots, you will see a small distortion spikes, & the Bombay Bloomer & Trousers are also showing those same problems. So the trousers, ammo boots & bloomers need some more work. Also the Ammo Pouches & Small Pack need to be reworked for a better fit. Overall I'm rather happy with the result, & decided on adding some new Head Gear also. I'm undecided on making my own Lee Enfield SMLE, since I own Panko's beautiful HM set, I didn't see the need to make one, I did however make a Lee Enfield No. 4 Rifle, a Bren Gun, the Sten Gun with different stocks, a Mills Bomb. But the No.4 Rifle being issued only after 1942, would look out of place in the early days of the North African campaign, but would fit in the later Italian campaign form 1943.
So here we are gents & ladies, My M4 Wip, thanks for looking.

Well you know what I think Luis, Stunning! I know what you mean about M4, most of us use him but he has his faults. A bit to power needy if you have a battlefield full of him and his shoulders always look a bit odd to me. Keep these coming mate :)

I hear that the M4s are queueing up down at the Quartemaster's tent in droves. Nice work again, Luis!

It must be frustrating to fit the gear to so many figures for Poser. It is not easy to switch from G2 to Domus and vice versa. Is this gear for Domus or G2? Well, it's sad that one needs so much work to transfer the gear from one figure to another one. So, it is a very heroic task to transfer the gear to M4, Luis. It is a great work.

Hello Alice It is rather annoying to say the least, but yes, every time I make some gear or uniform for one figure I have to adjust every piece to fit the new figure. in this case these are for the M4. I could use crossdresser to convert from one figure to another but the details get all distorted, I take the time to make the uniforms & gear just right, then... wamo. So crossdresser is out, & the gear is converted manually.
