Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

What a gorgeous machine, and a great shot of it, Bill! The TNA Gals are looking over my shoulder as I work on the next page... They think they would look great in this Rolls... :-P

Beautiful, and nice to see them on a more natural surface too!

This treatment suits the old lady really well! If you ever get to visit Bournemouth there is a RollsRoyce and Bentley shop opposite my health centre!

A super picture and one of the nicest looking cars they produced.

Beautiful photo of the old classic. Thanks for sharing.

What a beauty this is. An excellent shot with all its reflections, Bill :)

Love the color pop treatment here. It's so subtly done, and such a nice result. Excellent work!

Absolutely stunning; I particularly love the rows of lights reflected in the paint. Beautiful!!!

I didn't know that either, well we live and learn :) I light the paintwork and as said above the row of lights captured in the mudguard looks like a trim :) beautiful shot Bill

Very nice capture Bill.

That's news to me too Bill as well. I wonder if the workforce were trained by RR craftsmen before production started.

Ahhh... the Silver Cloud. Such classy names their cars have. But this one is blue. Note the steering on the right side! No change from the original British model here! And the classic outside step below the doors with tool box and spare wheel. Considering the weight of these cars, I wonder how long a wheel lasted. Beautiful photo of a beautiful classic! Good job! Keep it up! :-)

Superb capture my friend. God bless.

Lovely photo my friend, but I still think they are ugly cars. The more modern ones are even uglier.

And what a surprise to me to see a Rolls Royce painted in black. I always see them in white or silver. Anyway, great POV of this elegant antique, Bill, but I think they could have improved on the front bumper.

excellent photo

They don't make them like that anymore, built to last. x

Did you do selective coloring on this & apply a sepia filter to the background? Whatever you did & however you did it, the results are outstanding...

What a classy car and a nice capture Bill. Didn't know they made Rolls Royces in America for a while. I wonder if they have a higher value now?
danapommet
An excellent POV and photo. I can't believe the skimpy front bumper!
