Description

It came as quite a surprise to me to learn that Rolls Royce opened a manufacturing plant in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA in 1921 and produced 2,944 cars over the next 10 years. The photo above is one of those very classy cars...a 1923 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. Location: National Automobile Museum, Reno, Nevada.

a spectacular shot, Bill, from the line of the car-tops---all in line with the upper frame---to the wonderful linear counterpoint of the cars in their diagonal configurations, to the beautiful capture of the mass of these beasts, as well as of the sheen and light and shadow. It's just glorious. You made these cars sing together. Anyone who didn't zoom on this missed out on a world. This would be great in the original (RAW or jpg), really large. And it looks as if you made the background sepia, but kept the front car in original tones. Both are striking; and the black in the front car is so deep and rich. A terrrrrific car capture. 20 stars. It just flows right into my living room...
