HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mies!
I wish for you a pain free year, my friend.
This is the light above my bed, a lampshade made of paper mache and pressed flowers and insects.
I bought it many moons ago at a craft show where I had a stand. I think the artist was called Kate Etherington.
I searched for her on line, but no luck. Not surprising as we were both young mums then, and anything could have happened by now.

Oh my, Andrea! It's about time to write a comment under this fascinating paper lamp, and FANTASTIC card for me, as I'm sitting here, and watch this moon, over, and over again. I try to see which dried flowers I can discover, and indeed, I've recognize quit a few. Also I try to imagine how you become awake early in the morning, and you are laying there, so relax, looking t a most special 'good morning moon'. what a great and cool thing to start the day with.I feel privileged that you let me share in this wonderful vision of a moon, where the flowers are as beautiful fossils, not to be found here on earth, but at a much higher level. Thank you, dear Andrea! You will understand: I love it! However, the insects, they from fright have moved at the back of the moon, when you took a picture of them, huh? THANK YOU! :)
