Description

It is always a great relief to say that my wrapping is complete. Ninety (90) percent of which I actually did at work last week when most of my co-workers were not around. I really prefer to relax on Christmas Eve, satisfied that I just have to coast through the next two days. I'm getting sly if I may say so myself. Well, I'm cooking dinner tomorrow. So too clever by half. And with that, tonight is yet another Christmas Eve chess match with Sunsirae - a seasonal tradition now. I think she may have been defeated this year - that's a first. But it looks like she's taking her loss in stride - perhaps it's the absinthe. Sebastian on the other hand does not look so happy about the state of affairs. Though I do not think it has anything to do with the outcome of the game. Simon must be taking the spirit of the season somewhat too seriously in Sebastian's opinion. But what do you expect from a cat that doesn't drink. Sorry, no nudity. But buttoned up sexy, I think you'd agree. We got through the ice storm this past Sunday with little grief. Just two hours without power. We count ourselves fortunate as many fellow citizens in Toronto are still without light or heat right now. And many may be waiting until after Christmas for it to be restored. This is worrisome as the temperature is starting to fall tonight into a deep freeze. Hopefully all will be well as both the city and the province have deployed warming centres to support those who can no longer remain in their homes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed of coarse. Merry Christmas my friends and all of Renderosity and peace for the New Year. Don't drink and drive. I have to say it, it's the law.

A relaxing and lovely Christmas Eve.. I hope the power has been restored to all by now and no one got too cold, not a great way to spend the night before Christmas (in the cold and dark, I mean).

Beautiful scene. We had the ice storm here in Holly, Michigan, and the power lines are all down from the weight of the ice. Lots of tree, too. We lost the Internet for four days and just got it back. Happy holidays!
