Description

This was taken one late afternoon in the Kgalagadi during my recent visit. The dust and rain just made it a spectacular sight and I was almost late for gate closing time because I kept on stopping to take pics! Virtual tornadolike weather apparent in this splendid capture of the Kalahari, Carin. On the other hand, statistics reveal that our California may be experiencing its worst drought since the year 1500. I didn't know they kept records that far back.
