I finally bought an orange Hamamelis and this is the first season in flower in the ground. One day it will be a big shrub! See my red one, 'Diane' Here

These are really colorful, Andrea, I don't know witch I prefer most. Kind of reminds me of the wire twists at the market that shoppers use to tie up the fruit/veggies in plastic bags.

Most of your flowers are symmetrical, ordered, perfect. The witch hazel bloom by contrast seems unruly, growing wherever it wants. A certain charm in that. Its a lovely image.

They are strangely beautiful flowers in a vibrant colour, great shot! I don't have any of these but do admire them immensely. I just have the loropetalum which is a close relative and flowers pink, when in full leaf.
