Description

in the UK who are suffering from the rash of storms. A taxi driver was killed late Friday in central London near Holborn subway station when part of a building collapsed during a windstorm, police said. She was identified as Julie Sillitoe, a 49-year-old with three sons. An 85 year old gentleman died on the Marco Polo when a freak wave broke the windows of the ship's Waldorf Restaurant. and in Hertfordshire, north of London, residents of 17 homes were evacuated Saturday after a 20-foot (65-foot) deep sinkhole developed overnight on a quiet residential street. These and others like them, keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that the storms end soon so life around the world can go back to what we hope will be normal.

Outstanding fractal. The little wisps look like souls drifting off into the heavens. I agree with your sentiments but I'm afraid its only going to get worse until we do something about how we are despoiling the Earth. Call it climate change or God's wrath or Mother Nature being pissed the result will still be the same.

You did a magnificent job on this thoughtful dedication, Mike. We need to keep all these people in our prayers during this time.

A stunning dedication for those that are sufferings from Mother Nature's wrath. Global Warming - can't prove it by what's going on all over the world.

Terrific fractal & heartfelt dedication! Not much folks can do about weather events...Coastal populations can retreat inland, until no place is safe...IMHO, humanity's kinda shot itself in the foot.

A fractal to be kept as a fave Mike and thank you for your concern and dedication. I am lucky where I live, we are on high ground but the flooding on the Somerset levels can be seen and my heart goes out to them. We have had enough now and would like to get back to normality. Isn't it strange - when other countries have disasters the UK is the first to send money and aid but none seems to be coming our way !!!! Having said that our Dutch friends have sent large volume pumps.

Fabulous fractal Mike! I am so angry that so much damage has been caused when repetitive years of under spending have resulted in such widespread damage. Even though there were instances of flooding three years ago with obvious indications it would happen again, NOTHING has been done to dredge and further fortify the weakest points. Too little too late!
