Description

Entering the cryochamber feels very ominous, a dimly lit room and it only takes a moment before I see them. Across the room are three technology coffins which appear to be holding people. "Are those people over there?" I ask Kortt. But before he is able to answer the woman's voice responds... "Those are the cryotubes preserving the Gray Lords. Lord Hades, lord Crete and lord Grys." "Preserving?" Asks Kortt. "That is correct lord Kortt, your father and uncles are still very much alive. The cryotubes have preserved their minds and bodies." Like a bat out of hell Titan rushes over to the first of the cryotubes and begins peeking inside. "Titan, get away from there!" I yell but he pays me no heed. I go back to listening to Kortt asking questions. "Why have they remained in these tubes for all this time? When are they scheduled to reawaken?" "The Gray Lords were scheduled to awaken when the world was purified and livable once more. However I lost communication with my other locations long ago, with my contact severed to the outside world I have no means of verifying atmospheric conditions. Lord Kortt, may I assume that if you are here then the world is safe once more?" Kortt hesitates to answer which I find strange. "No, the world is still unfit." He gives me a look that leaves little room for interpretation, it says keep my mouth shut. I wonder why he lies? Especially knowing thats his father over there. Then it hits me, I remember Kortt saying he was raised in the Limbo. How did he get there? why wasn't he with his father or mother? I decide it's probably best if I stay out of it. "Let's proceed to the vault." "As you wish lord Kortt." Replies the voice. "Please continue to the rear of the cryochamber." "BEEP...BEEP, warning, warning, cryosleep aborted. BEEP...BEEP, warning, warning, cryosleep aborted. BEEP...BEEP." Another voice, this time a male voice warns of something aborted, all eyes immediately turn to Titan. Feeling us watching him he instinctively covers his eyes in a panic. Thick smoke begins filling the surrounding area of the cryotubes. "What is happening?" Demands Kortt. The woman's voice replies... "Lord Hades has been awoken."

Great image to illustrate the story. With a name like Hades I'm not expecting anything good to come of this!

Excellent story... though I'm thinking waking Lord Hades up might not have been the best bet.
