My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Looks like you were having just way too much fun with this one, Tara! And the result is wonderful - maybe you need more cold, windy (or snowy) days. We have lots of them here..... :-P

You're joining Helle, of late, with this gorgeous blend/manipulation. It's splendid. The fractal-y parts are so organic, we have to remind ourselves they're fractals. The clarity of your photographics makes the unreal amazingly real (and touchable). The faded flowers in center are beautiful counterpoint to all the detail. The composition---including that sphere in upper left corner (like a moon)---is beautiful and so satisfying. And your shadows and lights move through the piece like underwater light-effects. The yellow is perfect, too. It's just gorgeous, whoa. So happy to see you do this again: I wish there were more cold and windy days, if this is what they bring out in you! Beautiful work on every level, tara. I love it.

Damn, Mark is always such a hard act to follow...! :o) I love all the things you can do with Photoshop, and this is an excellent example of the result of playfulness driven by an artistic spirit (and a large dollop of talent). Fabulous fractal fantasy. Makes me want to dig out Apophysis again...
